How to submit your galleries for publication
-
You may submit a total of 24 images arranged in one to three galleries. Each gallery should have a unique name from any others in your name. If all you want to submit is a single image, that is fine
-
Prepare images as you would for the YCC digital projection competitions with maximum dimensions of 768 pixels high by 1024 pixels wide and save as jpeg (jpg)
-
Fill in the Gallery Submission form electronically, one for each gallery, and email it along with the images to webmaster@yateleycameraclub.co.uk with a subject of “Gallery Images for your_name” The images will be displayed in the gallery in the same order as they are on the form.

FAQ (Anticipated)
Q: I wish to update an existing gallery. How do I go about it?
A: If it is a major change involving reordering, then it would probably be easier if you submitted a new form and images. If you wish to simply append new images to an existing gallery, then use the form at make it clear that the new images are to be appended to the existing gallery.
Q: When I click on the Gallery Submission Form it automatically opens it into a web browser rather than MS Word or my favourite document editor, arrrgh!
A: In that case, right click on the link instead and use the Save Target as... then save it and open with Word or your whatever your document editor is. The document form itself is in rich text format (.rtf) which can be opened and edited by just about any document editor such as MS Word or OpenOffice.org Writer (which is Open Source software and free to use)
Q: 24 images and/or 3 galleries are not enough for me.
A: Really? These quantities may be reviewed depending on members uptake and web site resources.
